Personal Biography

Maria Mirhosseini is a graduate of Tehran Azad University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) major in English. After graduation, Maria started her career in Iran Office Machines Center where she began her specialization in translating the technical manuals from English to Farsi and printing those manuals in a booklet format.

Outside of the office, she was committed to translate the Children’s’ illustrative books and novels. Maria immigrated to Canada in 1997. Soon after coming to Canada, she started to work in a long-distance company as a customer service representative. After working for a while, she needed to upgrade her education. So, she decided to study Accounting at Seneca college of Applied Arts and Technology in Toronto. After obtaining her Accounting diploma in 2002, she started to work as an accountant for almost two years. Then she joined Sears Canada Inc. As a customer service representative and held different positions as a sale associate and a human resource assistant while working in that company. In 2015 she thought she needs to get back to school again. And at this time, she decided to pursue her education in Social Service Worker (SSW) and follow her passion in doing something more meaningful. She graduated in SSW from Seneca College in 2017. During her study at Seneca in Social Service Worker program, she did her placement in two non-profit agencies known as Iranian women of Ontario (IWOO) and Working Women Community Center (WWCC). She is fluent in both Farsi and English languages. She has recently joined Yazdani Law Group bringing along with her over two decades of customer service experience. She is in charge of customer service. Her main responsibility is to answer all coming calls, guide the callers and refer the clients to the experienced immigration lawyers, consultants and law clerks.
